Reading Roundup Wrapup: February 2017

Pick of the Month: More than Meets the Eye, Volume 3 by James Roberts, Alex Milne, et al. Tough one this month, so much so that I had to use Preference Revealer to help me make up my mind. Ended up with what I would say is a pretty tight top three: More than Meets the Eye, Holes, and Blue Beetle: Road Trip, all excellent books. Dr No and Time Trips were also quite solid. Any one of the five could have won in a different month. But I guess I had to give the edge to the only book I read this month where a life-or-death situation is resolved by the Duly Appointed Enforcer of the Tyrest Accord cracking a smile. I should also point out that there was kind of a tight race for the bottom. Three books that could have lost in a different month: The Sea Fairies, Timewyrm: Apocalypse, and The Rise of Endymion. Though Rise is the clear, far and above, loser.
