Reading Roundup Wrapup: August 2017

Pick of the month: The Rings of Time by Greg Cox. This was one of those months where I read some good stuff, but nothing I particularly loved. I enjoyed The Mighty Thor, Star Raiders, both Chaykin space epics, The Rings of Time, More than Meets the Eye, and Landscape with Invisible Hand, but I didn't love any of them. So I waffled a bit before finally using Preference Revealer to generate one-on-one matches to determine my ranking a piece at a time. To my surprise, actually, this original series Star Trek novel came to the top. It's a fun, quick read-- I'm not sure you can say or need to say much more about it than that. (Landscape with Invisible Hand and More than Meets the Eye hovered just below.)

All books read:
1. Star Trek: The Original Series: Allegiance in Exile by David R. George III
