Reading Roundup Wrapup: July 2018

Pick of the month: In Other Lands by Sarah Rees Brennan. I read this book because it was a finalist for the World Science Fiction Society Award for Best Young Adult Book (Not a Hugo), and it was the best book I read for the entire 2018 Hugo voting process. Which is a little sad, because Frances Hardinge's A Skinful of Shadows was the second-best book I read for the entire process and definitely would have taken "Pick of the month" had I read it in April, May, or June. Such is the way of contests.

All books read:
1. Iain M. Banks by Paul Kincaid
2. The Birth Partner: A Complete Guide to Childbirth for Dads, Doulas, and All Other Labor Companions by Penny Simkin, P.T.
