Pick of the month: Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger. One of those months where most things didn't knock me over even if I read little that was abysmal. But this was the book I feel like I am most likely to recommend to someone, a Lodestar finalist that is a pretty cute middle-grade fantasy.
