Reading Roundup Wrapup: February 2022

Pick of the month: The Justice Society Returns! by David Goyer, James Robinson, et al. I didn't finish many books this month, but still, this was fun. Good solid superhero comics, the kind of thing I read the genre for. Neat uses of history, good character moments, not bound down by continuity.

All books read:

  1. Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious: Defender of the Daleks by Jody Houser, Roberta Ingranata, et al.
  2. Star Warriors of the Modern Raj: Materiality, Mythology and Technology of Indian Science Fiction by Sami Ahmad Khan
  3. The Justice Society Returns! by David Goyer, James Robinson, et al.

Ouch. I am still reading Little Dorrit. I have under 200 pages to go, but I have been moving so slowly. This is ridiculous!

All books acquired:

  1. Star Trek: Titan: Sight Unseen by James Swallow
  2. The Justice Society Returns! by David Goyer, James Robinson, et al.
  3. Chase by J. H. Williams III, Dan Curtis Johnson, et al.
  4. Legion of Super-Heroes: Before the Darkness, Volume Two by Gerry Conway, Roy Thomas, Paul Levitz, Steve Ditko, Frank Chiaramonte, Bruce Patterson, Carmine Infantino, et al.
  5. Pandora's Star by Peter F. Hamilton
  6. Judas Unchained by Peter F. Hamilton
  7. American Science Fiction: Four Classic Novels 1960-1966: The High Crusade / Way Station / Flowers for Algernon / ...And Call Me Conrad [This Immortal] edited by Gary K. Wolfe
  8. American Science Fiction: Four Classic Novels 1968-1969: Past Master / Picnic on Paradise / Nova / Emphyrio edited by Gary K. Wolfe

And then I got so many! The two Peter F. Hamilton books I found on a bench in the building I work in, with post-in notes in them reading, "Free Sci-Fi Books! 4/5 stars".

Books remaining on "To be read" list: 685 (up 5)
