Pick of the month: Twelve Angels Weeping by Dave Rudden. I read some good stuff this month, but the clear standout was this collection of dark Doctor Who Christmas tales. I've read a lot of Doctor Who Christmas books by this point, but this one was clearly one of the best.
All books read:
1. Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens
2. Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan
3. Doctor Who: Twelve Angels Weeping by Dave Rudden
4. The Transformers Classics UK, Volume Two by Simon Furman, et al.
5. The Man with the Golden Gun by Ian Fleming
6. Auberon: An Expanse Novella by James S.A. Corey
7. The Hero of Ages: Book Three of Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
8. Voyager: Collected Comic Strips from the Pages of The Official Doctor Who Magazine by John Ridgway, Steve Parkhouse, and Alan McKenzie
9. Star Trek: Picard: The Dark Veil by James Swallow
10. The NeuroGeneration: The New Era in Brain Enhancement That Is Revolutionizing the Way We Think, Work, and Heal by Tan Le
11. Doctor Who Magazine: Special Edition #55: Production Design edited by Marcus Hearn
12. The Transformers Classics UK, Volume Three by Simon Furman, Jeff Anderson, et al.
13. Narn i Chîn Húrin: The Tale of the Children of Húrin by J. R. R. Tolkien
14. The World Shapers: Collected Comic Strips from the Pages of Doctor Who Magazine by John Ridgway, Grant Morrison, Jamie Delano, et al.
A good month! The key, of course, is to alternate your Brandon Sanderson and J. R. R. Tolkien door-stoppers with lots of tie-in comics.
All books acquired:
1. Star Trek: Picard: The Dark Veil by James Swallow
2. Mistress of Chaos: Collected comic strips from the pages of Doctor Who Magazine by Scott Gray, John Ross, Mike Collins, and David A Roach
3. Art & Lies: A Piece for Three Voices and a Bawd by Jeanette Winterson
4. Justice Society of America: The Demise of Justice by Len Strazewski, Grant Miehm, Mike Parobeck, Tom Artis, Rick Burchett, et al.
