Reading Roundup Wrapup: February 2019

Pick of the month: The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison. Not without its flaws, but a really thoughtful, interesting political fantasy novel nonetheless. Like The Traitor Baru Cormorant and its ilk, attendant to the machinations and psychology of power; unlike them, fundamentally optimistic.
