Reading Roungup Wrapup: March 2019

Pick of the month: Admiral Hornblower in the West Indies by C. S. Forester. Not the last Hornblower novel written, but it is the last chronologically, and I found it a moving and heartwarming final set of adventures for Hornblower, with some of Forester's best writing across the entire series. Going back to the Mr. Midshipman format of a series of standalone short stories gives it a nice scope. Not the best Hornblower novel, but certainly one of the better ones.
